VAV box consists airflow measuring console consisting of honey-comb pattern airflow straightner of thickness of minimum 60 micronsand rapid average pitot tube for accurate airflow measurement. The console is followed by Low leak extruded airfoil multiblade VolumeControl Dampers. Made out of heavy gauge extruded aluminium airfoil blades and C type 115 mm deep frame with flange of 25 mm,complete with exposed gear drive, EPDM blade seal, with extended shaft suitable for Actuator mounting. This device is used for maintainsdesired temperature in zone using PID algorithm.
